So it has been a week and a very busy one at that! The people here are simply incredible. Ive traveled along the coast a bit in Sydney and if i had to try to describe the water and the beautiful landscape I would say...
As you stare at the crystal blue water, other colors start to jump out at you, there are yellows and greens and blues, some dark and some as light as the sky. The sun reflects off of it with a glimmer and no matter what the weather you wish you could jump in and feel the refreshing embrace of its waves dressed in white lace.
:)
Hillsong church is more than I had imagined. I must admit, I went in there ready for anything, not expecting but rather just observing. The church is truly church at its best. It is not just four walls that wish to glorify themselves, but rather a group of people that are running hard after the heart of God. The people are not perfect and they don't pretend that they are. They are just real people living a real life, doing the best they can and all for the name of the Beautiful Son. Inspiring isn't it?
I am about to grab lunch with a beautiful girl named Nicky. Ummm...there is so much to catch up on but I don't quite know where to begin. So I guess this will be my beginning for now. Until another day and another beautiful realization that Love conquers all, I will see you all soon. LOVE YOU.

Today is the Day
today is the day...a month long vacation in a new place with some of the most amazing people i have ever met. I am leaving the warm weather of summer for Australian winter but hey..i think i can handle it :)
The bags are packed...the massive amounts of reading and music is ready and packed away tightly in my red bag. I have to say, as silly as a feel for never leaving the country....i am incredibly excited for that stamp in my passport. Just to know i did it, and it's only the beginning.
Love you all, I'll miss being able to see you everyday but I can't wait to fill you :)

morning time
one of my favorites things is to wake up early and go outside.
there is something about the air, the sounds, the waking up of people, getting ready to start there day.
when i walk along the streets in this small town of mine, there are numerous cars rushing to the city to get to work, dressed in their business suits and bruifcases tucked neetly on the seat next to them. But there faces have that, just woke up look. they all have a cup of coffee or tea(whichever is there beverage of choice). hopeing that that one cup will jump start there day (God only knows how many they will have before they come home for their nightly glass of wine to calm them down)
then there are the people just going for their morning walks, mostly with dogs. the glances between me and them, the polite nods and smiles. thats one of my favorite parts
but i can't forget the mothers, who you see just standing on the front porch grasping for that last moment before their kids scream for lunches, or come running out the front door, off to camp or school. You see, then she has to jump in her taxi cab and drop and pick up, and repeat. and oh i know that day will come, but right now i am perfectly content with waiting for my man.
